Conscious Kitchen Witchery for a Mad, Modern World
A moment's silence, please, for the thousands of good womenfolk and menfolk who were burnt alive by the Establishment for having the effrontery to use purity of intent and knowledge of local herbs and other materials, to comfort the sick, relieve suffering and restore a sense of hope.
Join Ani and have a jolly good time learning how the wisdom of the old days can help us to be more self-sufficient with a view to healing today's modern, fast-paced, profoundly dysfunctional world.
We'll go back in history for a quick overview of the craft before learning how to cast simple spells and use herbs, incense and other materials to set intentions for ourselves, family, friends, colleagues, country and planet.
Learn all about amulets, talismans and charms. Learn how to write your own spells and turn them into rhyming couplets and chants.
Ani will cram as much information and hands on practice as possible while keeping the pace steady and mood lighthearted and informal.
Note: You don't have to be a Wiccan (Ani is not) or part of a coven or similar group or know anything about "the craft" to attend this class.
Ancient wisdom is inclusive and non-denominational.
Kitchen Witches typically practice alone, making a difference in ways small and tall, each and every day.
Conscious Kitchen Witch SUPPORT CLUB
From June through October 2019 Ani will host a monthly Conscious Kitchen Witch SUPPORT CLUB where ideas can be exchanged, and spells cast together for the betterment of mankind. If it proves popular, we will make it a regular monthly event.
In addition to Ani presenting a new type of magick each month, complete with spells, demonstrations and handouts, it will be an opportunity for the group to exchange ideas and discuss what works and what irks. We can write new spells together and learn how to create and use a Circle of Power for the betterment of mankind. There is so much to explore!
If any member of the group wishes to make a short presentation, just let Ani know.
This group is open to anyone who is interested in the subject and there is no obligation to attend every meeting. If you have liked-minded friends, let them know.
We are asking for a $10 donation, cash or check only please, to cover the cost of supplies and Ani's time. Please let us know if you plan to attend so that we can plan seating, supplies, handouts and so forth. If you drop in without notice, please bring your own chair and a notepad.
